The Biggest Gamble

Was watching Sirasa TV last night and saw an ad that said I could win 100,000 Rupees if I sent an SMS predicting which candidate the Ceylon Workers Congress is going to back in the upcoming elections. All you gotta do is type STV M (for Mahinda) or STV R (for Ranil) and send it to some number and if when the decision is made there's going to be a draw and someone's going to win 100,000 Rupees!

There's also a competition to predict the date of the election. But now that it's been decided the competition's over and they say they're going to hold the draw next week. Someone's going to win a lot of money on that as well.

When Sirasa did this with the JVP's decision to leave the Government we should have known that all of this would be in the future. There's something really sad about the way in which Sirasa has exposed elections in Sri Lanka for what they really are. Messed up games of chance where you know the house (not you) is going to win eventually whichever way you vote. It's not really democracy. It's all about wheeling and dealing and trying to get people from the other side to cross over onto your side and trying to keep your people from corssing over onto the other side.

It's never really on the issues, or the future of the country. So, I say if Sirasa wants to have some making a competition out of the whole sad joke, let them. They're not really making a mockery of democracy. One couldn't possibly make a mockery of democracy greater than the Sri Lankan parliament has in the past.

A sad sad state of events.

Will there be a 'Who Will Win the Election?' competition? The prize better be good :)

Sirasa is running another competition as well. You win 50 000 ruppees if you can guess which Hindu priest is going to finger a little boy by the end of the week. Prominent Hindu temples are in the running and you get to vote for the homosexual, transexual, bisexual, hetrosexual priest whom you think is most likely to rape a young boy and offer him as a sacrifice to Kali Amma.

I know you will be in taking part in the competition for sure since you seem to love servicing all those animal-screwing Hindu priests in your neighbourhood, eh Morquendi?

Check it out:

Sanjay Senanayake on the net:

http://securitypipeline.com/56800178

"When the tsunami hit, Senanayake, 23, who goes by the online nickname Morquendi, found himself at home in Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka, on the west coast of the island nation."

I thought he would have been in the bedroom in his neighbourhood kovil, playing with his friendly poosari.

mate give it a break.. u made ur point clear that u cant stand morq, so just get on and write something constructive about the article at hand. Is that too much to ask?

The religious bigot Sanjay Senanayake needs to get the message. He spends way too much time fucking and being fucked by Hindu priests and he needs to know it. Thanks for your concern though.

The fat child-molesting Hindu priest in Modera is one of Sanjay's favourite clients.

Morquendi: Well, nothing new here, my friend. Move along.

Dayan: How's swimming going?

Astrocyte, Dextr: Grow Up.

See? The two fools are at it again. They both are dying for some attention.

Perhaps the mental strain involved in actually reading and comprehending these articles fries their brains and renders them uselss, except to jettison the filth that they carry in their hearts. Psychologists would point to broken families. I point to broken minds. Perhaps you two need to leave your PCs and the virtual world you live in and actually try living in the real world.

Oh sorry, Dextr, I forgot that you're on the GayPride hitlist.

this is the mail i was trying to send to sirasa tv.

hi,

This is regarding the (sms) contest that was held in connection with the New Zealand crickrt tour finished on 8th January 2006.

As the 5th match finished, I was still watching Sirasa TV, and then I say Bryan Thoams and some other person drawing some numbers

0779477XXX
0779477XXX
0779477XXX
0779477XXX
0779477XXX

And announced that those are the winners.

Looking at that number's I see a BIG problem. How on earth the randomly selected 5 numbers have 7 numbers in common? what are the odds ?

Well, I give you my explaination. (should be close to what actually happened)

When the data was collected the numbers come like
+94777481904

And in your program ,somewhere you have
prifixed it with another 077

07794777481904

and taken the first 10 digits

07794777481

So, I'm not at all surprised that if none of those 5 people ever turn up to collect their prizes.

Just see the tapes on the program, and you will see (you keep the archives, dont you ?)
